Your personal AI math tutor

Math that teaches you to think — not just answers.

Thinkori is a Socratic math tutor built for high school — with every grade from 1 to 12 in the same app: it ladders hints instead of handing out solutions, checks every step with a real math engine, and turns your grades into a 15-minute-a-day plan.

Brain teaser

A bat and a ball cost $1.10 together. The bat costs $1.00 more than the ball. How much is the ball?

The learning session

Four moves, one habit

Every Thinkori session follows the same loop — focus, work, get unstuck, consolidate — so practice builds on itself instead of resetting every night.

  1. Pick your focus

Choose your course and topic — or jump straight into tonight's homework.

  2. Work the problem

Type it, write it, or say it. Photos of handwritten work are read directly.

  3. Get unstuck, not rescued

Hints climb one rung at a time. The answer stays gated until you've taken the step.

  4. Make it stick

Consolidate with daily 15-minute sessions on a plan that knows your test dates.

What's inside

A tutor with real teaching tools

Not a chat box with a robot in it — a full practice environment built around how math is actually learned.

Hints, not handouts

A Socratic tutor that ladders hints and gates the answer — you take the deciding step. Every symbolic move is verified by a built-in math engine, so the AI never bluffs the math.

Show your work, your way

Photograph or handwrite your work and the tutor reads it directly. Dictate by voice, hear replies read aloud, and watch graphs plot as you talk.

Twelve interactive tools

Replies carry working instruments: a function grapher with live sliders, a geometry sketchpad, fraction bars, place-value blocks, a number line, an algebra balance and more.

Grades → plan → progress

Enter test results and get an AI analysis of misconceptions, then a prerequisite- and test-date-aware plan of daily 15-minute sessions — with per-topic mastery and a streak to keep you coming back.

A memory that knows what you know

The tutor keeps a knowledge graph of your concepts, misconceptions and strengths — visible to you, forgettable any time — so it stops re-teaching what you've mastered.

Study together

Pin any tutor reply to a shared whiteboard, form study groups with a private feed, and share any session as a read-only link — password-protected if you like.

Watch a session

A real tutoring beat, step by step

This is how a Thinkori session actually feels: you work, the tutor nudges, the math engine verifies. Scroll it, click a move, take the gate yourself.

  • Click a first move — a wrong pick gets a nudge, never the answer.
  • Type x at the gate — miss twice and a hint appears.
  • Watch the math engine verify the step before anyone celebrates.
Live session — 2x + 3 = 11
Hints that ladder, answers that wait, steps that verify.

Family accounts

Parents in the loop — never in the chat

Parents use the same app as everyone else, plus a family console that observes and manages: it shows what a child studied and how it's going, and it cannot open the conversation.

  • See study rollups — Per-child summaries — sessions, streaks, topics covered.
  • Manage billing — Pay for a plan or a linked child from the same account, or from a payment link that needs no account at all.
  • Never read the chat — Observe and manage, never read — privacy isn't a promise here, it's the design.

Privacy

Privacy first. By design.

Thinkori is built privacy-first: data minimization by default, logs without personal information, and deletion that actually works. Students own their memory, parents observe without reading, and nothing is ever trained on your work. The short version:

Read the privacy promise
  • No training on your content — ever
  • Parents observe and manage, never read
  • Your memory: inspect it, forget it, gone for good
  • Delete your account — everything goes

FAQ

Fair questions

What grades and courses does Thinkori cover?

Math for grades 1–12, seeded with the Ontario 1–8 curriculum, senior OSSD courses (MPM1D–MDM4U), and both IB Diploma courses — Analysis & Approaches and Applications & Interpretation, SL and HL.

Will it just do my homework for me?

No — that's the design. Thinkori ladders hints and gates answers, so you always take the next step yourself. And a built-in math engine (CAS) verifies every symbolic step, so the AI never has the final say on the math.

What does it cost?

There's a free plan with 200 tutor turns a day — available today. Paid tiers (Plus) and Boost credit packs are coming soon; pricing will be announced at launch.

Who can see my chats?

You — and the tutor. Parents get study rollups and billing in a family console; the console can't open the conversation. Shared sessions are scrubbed of your name, and share links can be password-protected, expiring, and view-limited.

Does Thinkori speak my language?

The app and this site run in English, Français (Canada), 简体中文 and Español. Switch any time from the menu — your choice is remembered.
